#42. real run

went for real run at sentosa with 8 of my darling canoeists :) when we reached the starting place it was damn packed. OAC and several s72 people were there too. but they were running in the men's and women's junior, which was 5.5km. haoxia asked us to sign up for women's open which was 10km. all of us were groaning then, thinking how good it would haven been if we were only running 10km.

but alright, it was a good thing he said 10km because the experience was really great:D we did a wonderful team run. or perhaps more of a jog. but the point is we were encouraging one another on and we never stopped. but the part when we were running on the sand sarked. dont say singapore beaches sark cos they've got really soft and powdery sand. ok, i dunno how to describe it but it was horrible running on sand. either you keep slipping or you'd knock into one of the many sweaty people around you and get their perspiration mixed with your own. and we lost chieh hwee halfway thru the run!! wenyi ran some distance back to look for her but failed to find her. then at the last half km, wenyi and i ran back again to try to find her while the rest waited under the bridge and luckily we found her:) so we all sprinted to the finishing line in a line heheh. and people were shouting GO hwachong. so nice of them la haha:D did our usual whoosh and we were photographed! haha i cant wait for those photos to be posted.

went back to look for haoxia and took pics with him. and he was wearing shades! lol. huiwen said he was acting cool=P met mr alex tan too. and he was wearing shades too LOL. right, and both him and haoxia ran sub-1hour. collected goodie bag with the orange and white NB dri-fit tee. it's nice but too big for all of us cos we had to make do with size L :(

ate lunch at habourfront then home sweet home. missed tuition and 9P outing cos i couldnt choose the latter if i didnt want tuition. boO. but at least im meeting jas and mebbe the rest on tuesday:)

ah yes and i just talked about LIFE with BRYAN on msn. unbelievable cos those 2 can never go together la. hahah alright, promos are coming so i should start feeling scared. mebbe that'll induce me to staaaaaardeeeee. ahh, and i wanna go manila to watch the SEA Games with haoxia and the canoeists and seniors!!
