#05. new year

heyhey! Happy New Year to all:DDD 2004 certainly hasnt been a great year. especially with the earthquake and tsunamis on boxing day. well oh well, this teaches us to learn to cherish and treasure more i guess. and may those involved be blessed:)

on a lighter note, i wanna blog about new year's eve! woohOo~ celebrated with 4g peeps and yep, had lotsa fun hehe. bought food from ntuc and i was saying too little food le but the usually-very-hungry ki said it was alot. haha miracle eh=P (anyway, turned out that i was right lol) went my house and started cooking. after awhile i left the kitchen to ki gm and my mum to play Risk. first time play then bryan so mean. kept helping my bro cos he happened to occupy countries which were concentrated together. bOoo~ gave up halfway cos the game was so long and draggy...seemed never-ending 0.O so went to help out with the food again. then YAY!!! we had spaghetti with parmesan mushroom and italian sausage sauce, marinated fries, japanese chicken, baked potatoes, mushroom soup and buttered popcorn with honey!! :D hahaha the popcorn rawwwwwks. nicer than cinema one eh. okae la, or perhaps equivalent to that but it's nice in a different way:D yummy~~ later on me, ki and susan went to make the 2nd batch of jelly. andden we secretly ate the 1st batch one. hahah actually we only wanted to taste and see how but it was good so we just ate and ate. then jason and clement joined us.

here comes the nice game we played:\ haha it was fun la...but the forfeit was to drink cups and cups of water then in the end everyone kept visiting the toilet. lol. after that ate our swensens ice-cream cake. we had 2 big candles which stood for a thousand years each and 5 small candles. which meant 2005! hahah then we sang Happy NewYear to Us. -_-" yep and oso made our new year resoultions:) wanted to do it at 12 sharp but cos some people weren't staying over so had to do it earlier. after that was Countdown! haha yep, did it together with the people on chn 54. and we saw fireworks! it was from sentosa i think...cos my house was near the place.

then we played cards, talked and ate thru the night. hehe great company:DDD not that i wanna say but they were really a bunch of hungry people. lol. ate up every possible convenient food in my house. those dunnid to cook kind. hahah then we made the last bag of popcorn and chia put in so much honey which made it uber sweet. but it was still yummy la. then drank the bottle of sparkling juice too and continued playing and talking.

okae, then something weird happened. i still insist it's human error. but anyway, here goes. we had quite many people so we were using 2 decks of cards together. then alex suddenly had a missing card so we counted and sorted and ki and bryan checked the deck of 10s and said spade 10 was missing. yah so we replaced that with a Joker lo. the game continued then ki discarded a spade 10. and i realised i had another spade 10 in my hands. so i said eh wo ye you yi zhang spade 10 leh. and this freaked everyone out. they all ran into my room and left me sitting there. :\ kinda weird la...but i think is we counted or saw wrongly. yeah lorh..i dun believe in what the rest believe in=P andden all of them guys except me and ki leh. eeeeyer.

later watched some comedy on video cd then laugh laugh laugh and felt really sleepy. a few of us slept (eg. pecklim the pig=P ) and ohhyah he slept with my dear bolster!!! but nvm cos he's bestest team. worsteam and alex slept on my nice yellow cosy bed oso. lalala andden bryan kept koping my orange dino!!! hahah. anyway taught kenneth how to play Bridge. i think we werent very successful la=P lousy you. and i talked to van, jas and mel over the fone at 4am+ lol..crazy right. but they were having a sleepover too la so nvm.

breakfast next morn at the market. me gm and ki stayed till about 12pm to talk and yah...after went home bathed and did housework. hell yeah. cos the house was reeeeealllllie dirrrrrty. and like what kenneth had been saying the whole night, really alot of that kinda hair leh=P

wheew, done:) haha. tmr gonna be the first day in hci. got a really mixed feeling now. i dont want the hols to end. slacking partying and talking my life away cos the world dun care rawks. but on the other hand, look a little bit forward to a new beginning too. ok, have a great 2005!
